The roof of my car was covered in Jack Frost this morning
and in close up the patterns were wonderful
All over the UK the weather has become colder. Snow in Scotland and the North of Britain on higher ground predicted for tonight, and down here, chilly….
The Telegraph newspaper reports on the odds of a white Christmas here.
A Ladbrokes spokeswoman said:
The white Christmas market is always popular and we are expecting a flurry of bets following the recent snow, with our odds expected to fall further.

Frost, how I hate low overnight temperatures, frost and ice, I recall up in Jhb keeping a butcher’s plastic bone scraper in my car glove box to remove the ice from my windscreen, ice sometimes perhaps a half cm thick! It gets cold up there.
Fortunately I haven’t seen frost for over 20 years now, last time would have been winter 1990.
