Janus now blogs on MyT, but is currently away on holiday in England, visiting his rellies.
He flounced from The Chariot.
However, his account here remains open, ready for the day when he finally tires of the insults he is getting on MyT – after all, you get a better class of insult on The Chariot. 🙂
That’s true, although I do miss quarreling with Zondike.
Mind you, we’re always truthful with our comments here, I think Janus is getting far too “sensitive” as he gets older, mid-life crisis or the dawn of a third face? 😦
I haven’t seen Ferret for a while either; hope he hasn’t tripped over his ears and done himself an injury or something 😦
Now you mention it, Furry has burrowed himself away somewhere..
Ferret has had to cut back on his time here, for reasons he’d rather I didn’t go into. But he’s still around – it was only a couple of days ago that he was here, and he’s written a beaut entry for the Creative Writing competition. Go have a squiz. 😉
Cheers, Bearsy.
Brentwood, Ladbrokes, a frequent haunt of mine in the late 60’s! A good essay.
I’m about guys but thanks for thinking of me. 🙂
Good to see you, Furry One.
Janus getting insults on MyT?
Sounds like just reparation for those he generally dishes out here!
Amusing to see the biter bit but I don’t think I can be bothered to go and read it all, utter tripe these days.
I also must have missed his “flounce” from here. Glad to hear that he is welcome back though.
Oh, and yes, Furry, good to see you too. 🙂
Janus didn’t make a noisy flounce – he just departed. As you know, I don’t delete accounts – the site is open to anyone who wants to stick by the general ethos of the chariot. 🙂
There are some who, unfortunately, think they can dish out personal insults and then take umbrage when they are told that such remarks are unwelcome here. 😦
I do know, Boadicea, but thank you for the clarification. Some, I gather, are not welcome back, but I didn’t think Janus was in that category.
Araminta – I can only think of a few who were removed from the site long before it became the Chariot. And I think their removal was greeted with sighs of relief from most of the other posters!
I got on with both sides of Janus.
I’m sure J will come back before we know it.
I’m sure we all agree he is a fine poet.

I miss Janus, actually.
