A good example of why I don’t listen to contemporary Afrikaans rock, I was going to offer a translation but I can hardly hear what these guys are mumbling.
Must admit, it’s a cool video and some of the instrumental bits are good but not for me I’m afraid.
Soutie: yes, true. Normally I can pick things up here and there, but they’re somewhat difficult to understand.
Still, I’ve become increasingly fond of the Afrikaans language of late and try to listen to it whenever I get the chance.
