That will take care of 95% of Congress, we should be able to make progress at that point.
There is a great deal of public anger in the US about how things are going. There is also a groundswell of support for getting rid of the idiots and finding people who will actually accomplish something, or at least not ruin things. Last year a good number of idiots were thrown out, next year promises to see more thrown out — including the King of Idiots, the current incumbent of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave who seems to think that “hope and change” along with spending ungodly sums of money on absolutely nothing is a way to run a country. Oh, and then bomb Libya for no apparent reason without getting the permission of Congress, the body which alone has the right to declare war.

Looks like the revolution has already started, at least in Tottenham. Unfortunately, it is the wrong people who are revolting!! 😦
FEEG: Policemen shooting minorities always brings out the worst in them, even here. 🙂 Most of Tottenham looked pretty revolting to me, the little I could see from the Beeb.
Christopher: I only wish that the long suffering voters will remember their disgust come next November. I am sure there will be lots of whitewashing of the facts and laundering of reputations between now and then, the finger pointing is already well underway.
LW: things don’t look like they’ll be getting any better between now and then, how could they then forget?
