Bin ‘ot ‘ere

Our second week of 100 degree plus days and when the air conditioning on one’s car fails one is forced to get creative.

The window unit air conditioner was easily “foamed” into the right rear window, getting mains voltage requires the trunk mounted generator, a few sheet metal screws and she’s ready to go.
All-in-all a simple and elegant solution to an overheated commute.

  1. Hello All: The ’88 Lincoln Continental was not much of a car to look at even before this happened, The bolted on trailer rear brake lights don’t help this one much either. The air conditioner adds a certain individuality to the vehicle I think, and he does not have to keep the main engine running while he waits for the missus to do the shopping -” Don’t forget the beer sweetheart, and hurry up, I’m freezing in here”
