And what an exciting era it was, I recall watching the 1st one lift off, I’ve now watched the final landing, 30 years of successes and disasters.

Total waste of money except for the spin offs into real life.
Best thing out of the space programme was teflon!
Bloody good think it never got anywhere considering the clusterfuck humanity has made of this planet, I see no good reason to wreck any others!
It is the end of an era, Soutie and I have mixed feelings about it. A huge amount of research and development came out of the project and we have all benefited from that, I’m sure over the years: but we surely should get our own planet in order before spreading the chaos any further?
