Whackos of the Week

Just for a change, no politicians or bureaucrats, just a ‘normal,’ couple, Kathy Witterick, 38, and husband David Stocker from Canada who are refusing to say whether their new baby is a boy or a girl.  They are, they say,  leaving the decision up to him – or her.  Talk about throwing your children to the wolves – I hope one of their male relatives defies the whacko parents and teaches the boys a good right hook.

  1. Perhaps they do not know the difference, as in “Vive la différence”.

  2. No 2 says it all!
Whole bloody country is whacko on a semi permanent basis.

  3. This is just madness! Seriously, call in social service! I’m not joking – this behaviour will have such a negative impact on that poor child’s development it will grow up into a complete fruit bat. Poor kid.

  4. Is this social experimentation on one’s own children?
I seem to remember this as a rather 70’s approach. Non-gender specific toys, encouraging girls and boys to be who they want to be. Cindy or Action man?

  5. Very little sane in British Columbia! I always thought Toronto seemed the only place where there was a trace of sanity to be found, and not much there.

  6. This stupidity started in the sixties – I thought it was a daft idea then, and I haven’t changed my opinion since!

Sensible parents (and these two seem to be anything but sensible) will encourage their children to play with what ever they want.

I read the report, and it seems that one of their children is already suffering from his parents whacky ideas by being kept away from school and the social interaction of the real world.

As one of the comments said:

XX = Girl XY = Boy. No amount of PC will ever change that simple fact.

  7. The really sad thing is that serial child abusers such as these two sickos whackos are allowed to breed at all.

    OZ

  8. I think the term ‘politically correct’ needs reassessing – there’s nothing ‘correct’ about this or most of the well meaning but stupid stuff around these days.
