RIP uncle Hubert

Today I received a letter, yes a letter not an email so it must be real, from the Agricultural Bank of China informing me that my uncle Hubert has died. Now I must admit I have never met uncle Hubert, but he must be one fantastic guy as he has left me his money, all U$9.35 million.

As it turns out (really) I am having lunch on Wednesday with the compliance manager of the Agricultural Bank of China, so I have asked him if could intervene and get me my money ASAP so that we can have a very good lunch.

I have sent my friend a copy of the letter and he has responded that it is possible the letter may be fake. Now I know emails are fake, but this was a letter with a stamp and posted here in the UK, so therefore it must be real. If the money does not come then I shall of course take legal action to get hold of dear Hubert’s money.

Now to all of you Charioteers out there, providing you sign a “non disclosure” letter so as not to release my name to the press then once the money is in my account I shall treat you all to celebration for a whole week at Disney Land/world in Florida. But please remember if necessary I will take out a super injunction to protect my anonymity.

Money, money money in a rich mans world.

Yippeee I am wealthy.

I am perfect, well I think so and I am never wrong so it must be true.

  1. Thanks Rick, obviously I’d be delighted to sign a non disclosure thingy but why not go for one of those super injunction jobs, I believe that’s what the really really wealthy do these days 😉

  2. I used to get letters from Tom Champagne at Readers Digest promising me millions if I signed up to a monthly contribution….I missed that one, I kept forgetting to send in my money, damnations!

I look forward to the Disney trip – can I bring Mrs C too?

  3. cuprum, when the money comes off course.

However as mentioned I did have lunch with the compliance manager at said bank today and he insists it is a fake letter, the Chinese will do anything not to pay out.
