Eighth photo competition.

I’ve absolutely no idea why we number them, I’ve recently done the eighth poetry competition. perhaps they should simply be called ‘this months’ or ‘May’, anyhow, having said that the theme for the next photo competition is WILD.

Wild parties, wild hairstyles, in the wild, wild relations, you get the idea, the picture has to be WILD.

I’ve included here one of my favorite pics, I caught him by surprise and have never published it before. Over to you, no rules insert them on the thread.

If you have difficulty sticking your pic on the thread, write a separate post (I’ll see it, I see all of them) and I’ll insert it for you.

Let’s Go Wild!

Closing date 30/04/2011, any time zone you feel like, I’ll be judging on Mayday ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Could I post a picture of a crazy hobo? There are plenty of them in San Francisco and I should easily be able to take a picture when I go to the financial district. If not, I can just take a picture of some deer walking in a mountain forest.

  2. Ha ha Ara, perhaps South Oxfordshire doesn’t do ‘WILD’ get out the house, where are those birds you posted elsewhere?

    WILD dinner parties are cool!

    Or, go north ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. Christopher, crazy hobos are fine (they have to be WILD!) stick a pic here and you’ll soon find out!

  4. Soutie: I’ve seen them get into drunken brawls, walk around with their nungas swinging in the breeze, and get within a half-inch of my face and just stand there, breathing in my nose staring me down. Wild enough for you?

  5. I know this is a trivial question, Soutie, but does this time limited also apply to Pacific Standard Time? I will be on holiday in the country this weekend and can attempt submitting a picture then.

  6. I’ve tried and tried to do “wild” but honestly, it’s not easy, Soutie.

This is as wild as it gets; it’s an old photo but it just about qualifies. ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. A first attempt at image posting – if it works I’ll try more in the next comp! ๐Ÿ˜€

  8. It’s a koala in the wild, no zoo or park! The concept of a koala being wild is, I agree, a little unlikely!

I’m guessing I got the sizing wrong? I shall re-read the chuffing manual! ๐Ÿ˜€

  9. Not wild you say? It’s an empty house close to the road. I pass it most days on my way to and fro, this is, I think, Wisteria (Mrs. Osborne will know). I have friends who have tried to train Wisteria over a trellis (or pergola) and usually it does not flourish, here left alone, wild and untended for ten years it blooms in profusion each spring, the main stem on the far post is as thick as a tree.

  10. Well this wasn’t taken recently so I might be disqualified, but this boy is as wild as they come – a pink dolphin which surfaced not far from the fishing village of Tai O, on Lantau, Hong Kong.
