Whoever thought that Gordon Brown should head up the IMF. With his record?
David Cameron gets something right at last.
David Cameron blocks Gordon Brown as head of IMF
Mind, GB must come a close second to think that he would ever get the nomination out of Cameron.
Ah ha, Cameron has some moments of clear thought at last. Is this the start of a new beginning for his government? No, probably too optimistic… He did make a point about choosing someone else to head the IMF, however. Considering that the IMF has, essentially, become an EU treasury it might be best to have someone who is not tied to the EU establishment running it.
Son of a bitch couldn’t run a whelk stall!
£270,000?
He’d be hard put to make £27 on said whelk stall!!!
Brown’s whole personality makes him unfit for this, or any, post requiring a measure of integrity. The fact that he is not an economist and is given to devious, underhand manipulation should rule him out too. Apparently he wants to do charity work, spreading the use of computers in Africa. That could be his niche – pedalling furiously to keep the generator going while holding a long pole with a satellite dish at the end.
