Good post, Zen. The other night, Mrs FEEG and I went to see Dreamboats and Petticoats in London. The tickets were organised by Saga, and by the look of the audience, a lot of other children of the 60’s had taken advantage of these tickets too. The show, a musical based in the 60’s and full of 60’s hits, was great and all the old fogeys, including us, were standing, waving and singing just like we did all those years ago. I can recommend the show to anyone who likes that sort of music.
It struck me then that my dear old Mum would have been happy to sit round the piano singing Roll out the Barrel or some Bing Crosby tune (not my Dad, who preferred 60’s music like us), whereas all these children of the 60’s have much more exciting music to remember, although I think Glenn Miller and the Andrew Sisters were great.
YouTube must be playing up, I’ve even had trouble loading Aussie videos into my page 😦
I shall forward them a written complaint through the UN, failing that … it’s the chain-saw dance 🙂

How many more times do I have to tell you lot that in the youtube ‘shortcode’ there has to be an equals sign between “youtube” and the url, rather than a space? And don’t include the blooming “&h=300&w=500”, or whatever, in comments (not that it actually matters, but it does nothing useful).
