Across Albermarle Sound today about 25+ miles of open water.
I did take one picture off to the right side, it’s a famous place, two Bicycle making brothers from Dayton made history right there about 107 years ago, but you would never know it from this distance, just a line on the horizon.

Then into the North River and back to the ICW.
Signs of domesticity if not Spring.

The First Mate took a long siesta break as the sun was out in the pm, the temperature was only 50 but it was clear and dry.
We are into Coinjock tonight, just into Virginia. Should be into Norfolk tomorrow, but raining all the way according to the forecast. Hey Ho.

LW,
I love tales of your voyage. This must be an absolute blogging first and Boadicea’s Chariot are the lucky people to get it.
Many thanks, sail safe. 🙂
Toc: Thank you, doing it is fun, writing about it is a bonus.
I do hope the weather clears so that we can have a good look at some of the activity in Norfolk tomorrow. Your journey has me watching the weather on CNN and cursing those rainy bits up the Eastern Seaboard.
A couple of pics of the interior would be nice.
Thanks for these posts – love reading them and looking at the photos. 🙂
