Have just seen an advert for one of the most yukky royal wedding souvenirs yet. A grotesque colour photo somehow inserted into a gold-plated coin. The knitting idea must be better than that.
I once found a book called ‘Knit Yourself a Royal Family’, an irresistible and immediate purchase.
I gave it to my son as a wind up one Christmas, I thought he was going to expire laughing, it became one of his most cherished possessions for a ‘cheering up’. Serious hereditary weird sense of humour in our family!
I couldn’t bear to keep it and gave it to the Brum Botanic Gardens charity book sale, often wonder whether I should have kept it, I hope it found an appreciative home!
I have to admit that I would buy a copy if I had someone to give it to who would appreciate it but I don’t think the dogs can either knit or read.
