For all cherished colleagues

whose invitations to THE wedding may,  like mine,  have got lost in the post, I give you this alternative

Admittedly the cost of the wool is a bit steep, but cheaper than having to buy an outfit.  And the main benefit is that this could entertain both monarchists and the antis, who could stick the figures on their dartsboard.

  1. Have just seen an advert for one of the most yukky royal wedding souvenirs yet. A grotesque colour photo somehow inserted into a gold-plated coin. The knitting idea must be better than that.

  2. I once found a book called ‘Knit Yourself a Royal Family’, an irresistible and immediate purchase.
I gave it to my son as a wind up one Christmas, I thought he was going to expire laughing, it became one of his most cherished possessions for a ‘cheering up’. Serious hereditary weird sense of humour in our family!
I couldn’t bear to keep it and gave it to the Brum Botanic Gardens charity book sale, often wonder whether I should have kept it, I hope it found an appreciative home!
I have to admit that I would buy a copy if I had someone to give it to who would appreciate it but I don’t think the dogs can either knit or read.
