Remember my Good news post about our lottery giving us money? Well we’ve got it and we’re spending it, amongst other things we’ve bought a new car. Here’ s where you come in, we can’t decide on the artwork Mrs. S and I have narrowed it down to two options but we’re split on which one to choose, which do you think we should go with?

Vote on the next page, thanks…
The yellow lottery logo at the back is non negotiable (it is was their money after all ;))
I’m not bothered about ‘confidential’ voting!
I voted for Option one. The writing and logo is bigger – if the idea is to catch people’s attention then the bigger the better. You don’t want people scratching their heads and saying “Now just what did that advertisement say?” π
Hello Soutie: I voted for 1. but I would go with even bigger lettering for Autism, this is a chance to get the message across to everyone who sees the vehicle.
Number 1 wins for me.
Boa: Exactly, I was also going to suggest something on the roof for the people on the overpass bridges, but maybe that’s a little “over the top”.
π C’mon, people, hit that button!
Yeah, my vote was for #1 – bigger the better!
Well that made me laugh out loud – when I checked the result it was 50/50.
Number 1 for me Soutie.
Don’t know why? It’s now 80/20!
Evening / morning all, heck that was quick, I’m planning to let the poll run for a day see what members think, I of course will only disclose my preference after that.
This is quite cool, thanks for the input so far π
Is it possible to see the illustration above the words more clearly please?
Yes my vote is number one, though I am puzzled at the logo. Any chance of a blow-up on that, and an explanation on what it represents. I like the white car, sporty and fresh looking. Make sure you keep it washed and clean!
No 1 is far more clear from a distance, so has my vote.
I voted for No.1 Soutie.
Gets the message across, which is the point.
It has to be Number 1. As soon as you see it you know what it is, straight between the eyes.
No 1 -no doubts.
I voted for No 1 as well. It gets the message across more clearly.
It has to be number one. It sends a much clearer message.
Remarkable!
Morning all.
An overwhelming majority by 4:1 in favour of option 1. You’ve made Mrs. S’s day.
I preferred the more subdued approach, however in the true spirit of African democracy, in honour of my African brothers and sisters who are fighting for democracy elsewhere, I will be issuing instructions (after lunch and a couple of bottles of red, of course) on the way forward.
Thanks a million for your comments and participation, it’s been fun π
Well, Soutie. Were I to be driving the vehicle I’d probably have gone for the more ‘subdued’ version! But, bearing in mind your previous comments about how little has been done for autism in SA, I would want to make sure that as many people as possible read the sign.
I note you haven’t actually said (in words of one syllable!) which option you are going for! π
