Yes I did see it Zen, most interesting. I did like the guy a lot, one of natures true Gentlemen, I remember being pretty sad when he died. His poor wife must have gone to hell and back when he raced and then to have their son enter the same profession and reach the highest level makes her a very remarkable woman. I’m glad that he’s remembered with such affection by those who knew him and the many others who may never have met him but admired the man.
Agreed OMG, when I saw him he was wearing a surgical collar, described by the race commentator as a gasket between head and block!
An English gentleman of the old school. Sadly missed.
