  1. He is the nephew of Mandawuy Yunupingu, of Yothu Yindi fame, and played for a while with that band on keyboards. The Yunupingu family includes quite a few famous aboriginal Aussies.

  2. I also have several Yothu Yindi CDs. I finally bought a digital copy of Garma a few days ago. I’ve been looking for it for years. The problem has been that the sellers, inevitably in Australia, would simply charge the Australian price at parity to the US dollar. Not that it makes any difference now since they are at parity.

  3. Good stuff all. Whilst living in Brizzie I became a fan of Ash Dargan. Does anyone know if it’s possible to upload a music clip directly to the Chariot from one’s own ‘pooter without going through YouTube and, if so, how?

  4. Boadicea and I are poor pensioners who do not enjoy the benefits of the wealth that other Charioteers possess. It is exceptionally bad taste to mock us for being poor.

Do you really think you could handle the code necessary to display videos, OZ? Since you refuse adamantly to read the WordPress support pages, or even the kiddie’s guides that Boadicea and I produce, I very much doubt it. It would just be more work for us to do, correcting your mistakes.

    Luddite! 😀

  5. Bearsy – Perhaps you missed the humungous fekkin’ smiley I attached to my previous comment? I admit to being monumentally thick when it comes to the arcane codes of t’Interweb as you well know, but I did read the WordPress support pages as well as your kiddies’ guide (most useful) very assiduously and can now produce videos and images on request. My question was about audios without YouTube and if it ain’t possible, so be it. ‘Calma’!

  6. Course I didn’t miss it, OZ!
I merely responded as befits a fully paid-up member of the Aussie culture. Eureka Stockade, and all that! No probs! 😆 😆 😆

Furry ’nuff and nighty night to you and to Boadicea. The Cave beckons as I have lunch up in the hills tomorrow – roasr wild boar, griled tame lamb and suchlike.
