Just to make you feel better, thanks to the Lib Bums (originally a typo, but it seems so appropriate), we are still going to give lots of foreign aid dosh to India, you know, the country that has its own nuclear weapons and a larger space program than the UK.
FEEG: That news startled me awake listening to Radio Four in the early hours. Our Indian friends are laughing their heads off, and until I hear Mr Mitchell’s arguments I am not too sure what propelled this decision. It sounds suspiciously like an ongoing bribe to do business with the UK but under the name of Overseas Aid. It is strange that India is not considered a candidate for CDC support – now ACTIS – whereas it is considered by the Government to be so. I feel myself growing more cynical by the day…
I am beginning to go into terminal despair!
