Polls: For Bearsy

I’ve misplaced your e-mail address, Bearsy, but wanted to bring to your attention when setting up the poll for the 4th Photo competition, in the process of posting its link as a comment under that blog, it seems to have chosen Charioteers.org as my website, when quite clearly it is Boa’s. Have you any idea if this is what happens when you run a poll on a particular blogsite, or should I change it to coldwaterjohn.wordpress.com as my blog site? I am uncertain whether that will cause it to disappear altogether or not..

My website is listed as Charioteers.org with Polldaddy.com.
Presumably because it the the primary site on my list. I don’t think it makes any difference at all, so unless Bearsy suggests you change it, I’d leave it as it is.

If you look at My Blogs in the top banner, then Manage Blogs you will see what I mean!

You can’t put a poll in a comment. A post, yes, and Boadicea and I can put polls in the sidebar, but polls in comments do not work.

Sorry, but I have no idea what you mean by PollDaddy listing your blog. Are you not using the poll facility in the Dashboard’s sidebar?

Oh, I see what you mean – you are not using the built-in poll facility. But doing it the way you have does allow you to place a link in a comment, which is fine, I guess. Since it works, I would leave well alone. 😀
