Just watched a wonderful documentary on the History Channel, he’s one of my father’s favourites, my brother and I grew up listening to him, Hank Williams and Frank Sinatra.
They didn’t play ‘Walk the line’ nor ’40 shades of green’ I rather enjoyed this one…

Morning Soutie. I must admit I did not know too much about Cash’s music nor did I particularly like what I had heard, until I saw the biopic, Walk the Line. I thought that was terrific movie and that Joaquim Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon were amazing.
J Cash must be one of the few stars to have made a career out of his total inability to sing. He must have some other talent which his enormous fan-base recognises.
A tortured man – I love his songs.
