Just looking at yet another layer of global warming falling outside the window. As usual, the road has not been gritted by the council and cars are having trouble negotiating the hill at the end of it. This is even though it is a bus route, a way to three schools, and there are quite a large number of sheltered housing units just round the corner.
How I hate the false prophets of the Anthropogenic Global Warming Brigade, and the local councillors. I expect our road is not gritted because no councillor lives nearby! Cynical, moi?
Ha, ha, who remembers the ’70’s and the ‘ice blitz?’ What’s the bets it will be back in a couple of years, I see the windmills are doing a great job, too – guess how much energy they are supplying at the moment?
I’m with you all the way feeg. I’ve just returned from shopping and experiencing global warming locally, ours is the same colour as yours, white.
Bravo…tttttttttt ….go and wash your mouth out for mentioning the bloody windmills 🙂 🙂
We’ve just had a sprinkling of the stuff this afternoon, and I really don’t want any more.
None of our roads were salted or gritted last year and I don’t care to repeat the experience.
We’ve had our first real snowfall here in Romania, though it will probably be no consolation to hear that the confusion it caused is just as bad as it seems it has been in the UK 🙂
The heavy snowfall has caused just as many problems in France and Germany as here. Not quite sure why everyone thinks Britain alone is in chaos. Last week a German friend told me there were 800 accidents in 24 hours round Frankfurt.
