Good morning Mr Zen, I’ll listen to this later, looks good
One of my favourites. Thanks, Zen!
Poor oboist, poor guitar. Wooden, both of them; no life, flat tone, no ‘singing’. Try Julian Bream. Sorry Zen. 😦
I went to check what others thought, and found this –
So I reckon I’m vindicated. 😀
Zen, I like this very much, hauntingly beautiful.
For the movement and length of clip I wanted this was u-tubes most suitable offer. Sorry if I offended your sensibilities, Bearsy, and that you feel the need to be vindicated.
Not at all, Zen. I just said what I thought. With a smiley. Would you like fries with that?
No thanks, I’ll stick to watching cricket.
I prefer this one.
I remember that episode – you can’t keep a good tune down!
Brassed Off was a film Zen not a series. 🙂
I must have seen it later when shown on the box; I know that I enjoyed it. The guitar concerto, I have loved for years – made me realise what a useless guitarist I was!
Did you used to pluck Zen?
Avidly, but this piece put me in my place; there was no way I could compete!
Yes, sometimes we just have to bow to those who do it better, although, to be able to play an instrument at all, is a success in itself, something I cannot do.

You never heard me – Status Quo were better!
Status Quo, now your rocking.
With two chords! Yes! 🙂
I could manage four, five on a good day!
