Why do people keep saying that Jimmy H. was the best guitarist ever? I honestly could never listen to more than a couple of minutes of the Great Stoned Eagle without thinking ‘bolleaux’. Am I missing something?

I liked Hendrix but he was never my favourite. At school there were 2 factions Cream and Clapton versus Hendrix. I was Cream and Clapton.

Yes Eric is possibly the best guitarist ever, and like I said on Ricks post, he is “the thinking womans crumpet”, and I for one certainly go along with that. Phew, is it me, or has gone warm in here? 🙂
