Chickens, ducks, whatever – don’t count them too soon!

I expect this should really be up on Bearsy’s own blog, but I’ve forgotten its web address. Husband is just reading out the statistics for the first Ashes test. How did England manage that? Might there be some red Aussie faces round Brisbane?  Perhaps it was the wrong LBW decision in the first Aussie innings that got England’s dander up. Even though I’m not English and don’t really follow cricket, I can’t wait for the next test.

  1. Sheona, we must tread carefully here. 🙂 I get the impression (probably wrong) that the two Aussie batsmen who ‘came good’ surprised everybody but their bowlers couldn’t follow suit. Objectively England have been showing some steel and promise to make a good showing down under. Bring on the next test, as you say.

  2. I think you’re right, Janus. Bearsy reckons that there are only three cricketers in the Ozzie team… and one of them didn’t do too well at getting England out in their second innings. 🙂
