Great singer, saw him years ago with MrsOMG at the London Palladium, he hit a note and lowered the mike, his voice filled the massive voice of the Palladium with ease. Still does concerts I believe.
I saw him in 1972 at the Wintergardens in Bournmouth – a 90 min concert – terrific.
Mornin’ Zen – You can’t beat a good, old fashioned crooner IMHO.
Val – You’re in the wrong country, Missie. I’m sitting outside in shirt sleeves enjoying the winter sunshine, doing my Portuguese homework and keeping an eye on you lot courtesy of The Cave’s rinky-dink wireless T’interweb access. I may well be tempted to throw something on the barbie for lunch and crack open a cold one.

Try and bear up Zang old son, our thoughts are with you as you wrestle with the difficult decison whether to throw beef or prawns onto the barbie…..barsteward.
OMG – It’s a tough life, but someone has to do it. Sigh!
Great idea on lunch, thanks. I am now brewing up for the old Aussie favourite of ‘surf ‘n’ turf – prawns and steak on the barbie.
🙂

Hi OZ, the snow blizzard has stopped, and what settled has gone, but more is predicted. The sun is now shining from a clear blue sky, like a summers day, you just cannot believe it; the seasons change in a blink of an eye. I have a pair of boots and a pair of sandals by the door, you just never know 🙂
Morning Mr Zen, nice one matey.
I can’t see you for the blasted snow 🙂
