I love listening to the BBC short story awards, but somehow missed that they were on last week. Thank you goodness for ‘Listen Again’ and Podcasts!
Last year I listened to the five broadcast stories which were on the short list and was blown away. And I predicted the winner. It was way ahead of the game in my view.
This afternoon I have used the ‘listen again’ to hear two of the five stories – I notice one is nearly at the end of its allocated time, but you can still Podcast them here
The winners will be announced next Monday (29th) on Front Row.

I don’t know how I missed it either. I usually have at least the first half of Front Row on… but I don’t think I listened at all last week.
Hi Nym. Missed it too, but didn’t know it was happening. I’ve got out of the habit of listening to the radio. Your prediction was rather impressive, I thought. Know what you mean though, some things just leap out at you, but it’s subjective of course.
