  1. Janh1, good evening.

Could I just say that I am saddened by the fact that both Bearsy and Janus found it necessary to comment on your inability to spell the word ‘inexcusable’?

As you know, it has been my self-appointed task for at least two years now to lead you from the dense and tangled thickets of Welsh orthography into the broad and sunny uplands of proper English spelling. I realise how much you appreciate my selfless endeavours in this respect and I apologise for not being there for you this time, in time.

    They are, of course, right.

  2. I did upset my anaesthetist once… but that’s a long story!

The other person not to upset is one’s hairdresser 🙂

  3. JM, does it not give you pause for thought that you were late yet again? I’m concerned that Judgement Day will be postponed, with a ‘mere’ 3 days to go? 🙂

  4. Oh all right, you lot. It was a very quick comment, typed in the twinkling of a Welsh maiden’s eye and yes, it was an inexcusable typo. Now will you let me off the 40 lashes? Good grief!

Mr Mackie, good evening. It is unfortunate that you were not prompt enough to pick up this particular clanger wot I dropped but no doubt there will be many more 😉

  5. So true Boa. I’ve always enjoyed the best of relations with my hairdresser. Went today, actually and he was on top form with the scissors and jokes-wise. But I have known him for 28 years. I tend to stick with people I like.
