Mark Steyn on Multiculturalism
Author: coldwaterjohn
CWJ travelled extensively with his family, having worked in eleven countries over thirty years. A keen photographer, holding a Private Pilot's Licence, he focuses mainly on landscape and aerial imagery. Having worked in the Middle East extensively he follows developments in that region with particular interest, and views with growing concern, the radicalisation flowing from Islamic fundamentalism, and the intolerance for opposing views, stemming from it. First class. He is one journalist I always used to read in the Spectator.
I too enjoy most of his output, and he is very good value in on-stage debates!
Very good.
Excellent 🙂
Excellent.
Steyn used to appear quite often in the Spectator and DT during Conrad Black’s time. He slightly disappeared when the Barclay Bros took over.
Yes, he writes well and intelligently; he is persuasive. I don’t agree with everything he says, though.
I have a strong antipathy for him. He’s not unintelligent, nor does he lack eloquence.
He is simply too much an ideologue and he will torture and torment situations to suit his
agenda. If people would seriously look into what he said would happen and would would happen, for example, his rate of accuracy has been underwhelming to say the least. I lost all respect for him after he wrote about how the Republicans would likely gain seats in the US Congress in 2006 and at very, very worst hold on to slim majorities in both houses of congress — they lost both in a large way.
I like verything about him.
