CWJ travelled extensively with his family, having worked in eleven countries over thirty years. A keen photographer, holding a Private Pilot's Licence, he focuses mainly on landscape and aerial imagery. Having worked in the Middle East extensively he follows developments in that region with particular interest, and views with growing concern, the radicalisation flowing from Islamic fundamentalism, and the intolerance for opposing views, stemming from it. Lol. ๐
Yeah, like he said. ๐
You could have bought Korean Air Lines for that 15 years ago ๐ Point taken, though.
There could be a nucleur submarine for sale shortly…
Or the captain of one?
I see that someone has bid the asking price. I guess there is as much chance of them fronting up with the cash as there is of the seller having the aircraft.
I would feel like a passenger on the Titanic – if I hadn’t jumped ship.

Cameron is either misinformed or deliberately dissembling when he claims we will still have the fourth largest armed forces in the world. In terms of manpower, we rank number 20, for warships we are about number 8 and in aircraft excluding the 3 major powers, we will be 20th, below India, Pakistan, Greece, Egypt, Germany, France, Syria, Turkey, Ukraine and Brazil, North and South Korea, Japan and Taiwan and Israel. His comment is as fanciful as it was misleading. Clearly he knows as much about defence as he does about WW2! In truth we will be unable to respond to all but the most minor of conflicts – which may or may not be a bad thing, given their propensity to go and bomb the hell out of nations thousands of miles from our shores, and stir up such hatred for us that it will take generations to overcome.
