On the radio this morning someone announced, with a hint of astonishment in the voice, that the proportion of British prisoners who are black is higher than in the US. Clearly, British police and courts are racist. What other explanation can there be? Well, the result of some recent research in France may provide a clue. Here, it was found that men of sub-Saharan origin were four times more likely to be involved in criminal activity than white men from the same social group. Those of Arab origin were twice as likely than whites. Could there be some connection, perhaps?

The connexion is usually socioeconomic. Wealthy whites, blacks, Arabs, usw tend to have similar crime rates — as do poor whites, blacks, and Arabs. The problem is that ethnic minorities are often in lower socioeconomic brackets. Some of it might be racism, most of it isn’t.
I wonder what proportion of blacks there truly are in the UK? In the US they are definitively smaller population than latinos now.
I wonder if the sheer proportions have anything to do with it?
After all we pay the bastards to breed these days far more than in the USA. Free this that and the other and more blacks kill each other here in gang wars with the easy availability of guns than they do in the UK.

Before this great country of ours became a failed Nulab experiment, we would rub along with just about anyone who washed up on our shores. We did not need a giant statue with a torch to say bring us your huddled masses, we just did it because we are a tolerant people. But the pendulum has swung to far in the wrong direction and the ordinary folk of this country feel outcasts in their own land and daily battle against the whole mammoth race relations industry that infests every aspect of our lives, hence the ‘shock horror’ that more blacks are responsible for crime so it must be a racist thing if anyone dares to suggest that some blacks may be criminals. We must remember though that pendulums have a nasty habit of swinging back to whence they came and some shocks may ensue.
These sort of ‘statistics’ really annoy me – taking one ‘fact’ and one ‘supposition’ and declaring that there is a link. To presume that the police and courts are racist is a nonsense. The only reason, as far I’m concerned, that there are proportionally more people from one group in prison than another – is that the first lot have committed more proportionally crimes than the other. There is a very simple way to stay out of Goal, and that is do not commit a crime in the first place.
