If ever there was a champion photograph, this is it. This tells more than one story.
Fantastic Bravo, simply brilliant. BRAVO, BRAVO, and BRAVO again.
My elder daughter shot it Val 🙂
Excellent photo.
As someone who takes a keen interest in photography, and humans, I continually find myself seeing more in a photographic snap shot, than simply just what has been shot.
Capturing “a moment in time” happens a lot, but not everyone sees things. Perhaps it’s just me, but this capture is just beautiful.
You’re right Val.
We see here a child who is so proud of having overcome his fear, though still a little, tiny bit anxious and relieved that there is someone there, (encouraging and strong) to catch him. And then there’s the expression on the face of the catcher in the pool. Marvellous. There’s your starter Val for a short story competition!
Now see what you’ve started Bravo 🙂 🙂 🙂
I’ll think Pseu.
My grandson and me 😀 I made him a promise at the start of the lessons that I wouldn’t let him go under the water unless he wanted to. By the time I left he was jumping into the pool from the steps, if not yet from the side, by himself 🙂 Couldn’t quite swim on his own, even though my supporting hand was quite clearly not necessary, but very pleased with what he achieved, as was I
🙂
My granddaughter, on the other hand, is definitely a ‘Look before you.. Oh, sod it, let’s do this!’ type and was swimming like a little pink mermaid by the time I left 🙂
Terrific shot on several levels. Swimming was not my forte. It was something I did to stay alive in water!
Simply joyous!
Great picture, Bravo.
I’ve seen this image but haven’t had time to comment.
Just brilliant, Bravo. George will *always* remember this summer with grandad! 😀
