Nevertheless Zen, I have viewed and it looks a great place, I may visit before the end of the summer. Thanks for pointing us to it.
I did a double take – thought it said Scunthorpe! Aaaaarrrrgggghhh!
It was very good value indeed – marsh woodland, with excellent planked paths between the viewing hides, very wheelchair accessible.
Sounds like you had a good day Zen. It does look good, I will visits sometime soon I hope.
looks like good fun.
We have one near us Eagle Heights, they let the vultures and condors fly around over the M25, picking up dead motorists no doubt.
Love it rr!
I’m fortunate, just sit on the patio and watch the forest. Currently the rooks are giving the eagles a hard time, mobbing them and scaring them to death. I think they must have a late batch of chicks in a big old cottonwood tree on our stream and are very protective. The people behind us have goats and chickens running all over the place and the rooks steal the eggs for a quick meal, so this is a very salubrious billet.
Evening Zen.
What a wonderful place. I’ve just spend half an hour exploring the site, but I would love to visit.
Minty, it has a very welcoming team running it, almost entirely voluntary.
