It’s very clever, Soutie and the autism one is brilliant.
evening Ara
There are some really great ones, I saw these a couple of years or so ago, I was reminded of them today and thought that I’d share.
You’re quite right, the autism one is brilliant 🙂
Whilst they are very clever it always worries me. By accepting such a bag one is giving tacit consent and supportive advertising to whatever cause or product being advertised.
I had quite a run in with one of our supermarkets over this a few weeks ago. They were packaging all the groceries in bags of a charity that I do not support and trying to gouge a contribution at the till added onto the bill. I said no, and I wanted my shopping packaged in the normal bags of the store, to which they said they didn’t have any!
Then keep you goods, says I , will go elsewhere and not return.
Hastily, normal bags were produced.
I’m damned if I was going to advertise some faggot cause with bright pink bags! I sometimes wonder what retailers have between their ears.
Likewise these logo bestrewn shoes and clothing marked up at ludicrous prices for the sake of the chav logo. Why should people advertise these companies for free? More likely ought to be paid to wear them!
It rather shows that the advertising and marketing companies treat people like idiots to be herded into compliance with whatever group think fad is of the moment. Their job made far more easy by handing out the cute and amusing.
I fail to comprehend why people do not assert their own individuality, a frightening foreboding for the future of society.
Tina, quite right, rather like getting to your car only to find that somebody has stuck a bumper sticker on your car that reads “I support a gay lifestyle’
I would be quite happy however to have my groceries packed in either of the two examples that I selected here 😉
Hello Bilby, they are aren’t they
I like the Greenpeace Orang. I’ll leave now. 🙂
Very clever….is No. 26 being carried by a Gurkha?
Wot larks!
Christina Opposite … I mean Osbourne is entitled to her opinions 😉
