Good morning Mr Zen. When asked, in an interview, why he wrote this song, Freddie said he wanted to write a song that people would sing years after he was dead; and they did, and they do. If things had been different last Sunday, I feel sure his anthem would have rung out loud enough for Freddie to hear. I don’t care what version it is Zen, I love the man, and I love Queen….as if you didn’t know 😉
