A TV production from the 90’s which was enthralling!
Now that’s a grown-up voice!
Oooh yes, now your talking.
Nope sorry Zen,
It’s lost on me.
Got any Ozzy Ozbourne?
Sacrilege!
Give any man a wedgie and he’ll turn into a soprano 🙂
You mean like PJ Proby?
Zen _ I just moved my computer and haven’t plugged in my speakers yet, but just by looking at him I imagine a “Falcetto”? 🙂
A Falcetto meaning something along the lines of Michael Jackson singing while having his “thingys” removed 🙂
The last I saw of PJ Proby in a documentary, he wasn’t doing too well.
He was a moron, a self-obsessed exhibitionist with a modicum of talent and over-tight trousers which had a habit of splitting when he was on stage.
Ah. My absolute favorite male aria and my absolute favorite male singer. Worse yet, I’ve never heard him singing live. I flew to LA once to hear him sing in Parsifal but he was sick that day! And he’s singing in SF this November but, guess what? I’ll be in Inghilterra.
Be quick, he’s getting on a bit – 68 now.
Amazing, isn’t it. I’ve given up hope, unless he’s going to be at Covent Garden this coming year. Which might be possible. I’ll have to check.
He’ll go till he drops, but the voice is showing signs of the inevitable.
Maybe I’ll come back in November just to hear him. He’s at Covent Garden in July but I won’t be there. You see, it isn’t fated.
Try to get hold of this perfofmance, made by the BBC, in the early 90’s – exceptional. My old videos are worn out!
