Sorry to hear you’re tired, Bearsy. Put your feet up with a well-deserved pint of good English ale and envisage Australia crushing Ghana, romping past Serbia and gaining a place in the final. Then imagine Sam Stosur beating both Williams sisters and becoming Ladies Champion at Wimbledon. Sorry I can’t allow you to dream about Leyton Hewitt beating Andy Murray or the Australian rugby team beating Scotland. That would be a dream too far and I’m not that kind-hearted.

Well, it’s been nice knowing you all. Roo was a prat – he’ll be pleased to see his wind-ups having this effect. Brendano was an abusive, opinionated prat who thinks far too much of his limited knowledge and will never acknowledge any error of fact or behaviour. Rainer did one for a very limited reason and doesn’t deserve any better consideration.
You fit none of these criteria, Ferret, ( 🙂 ) so don’t jump, mate.
If this place closes I guess it will bring an end to my blogging phase. MyT is a mess and there are no particular bloggers there whom I would pick as an interlocutor. The other sites I use are either technical or feature discussions way above my geek grade where I just go to learn. Probably just as well, really, I’m going to have time on my hands between now and my next contract and I have a book to edit to see if it might be commercial, and another book, a technical manual, in the chapter draft and sticky-yellow-references-all-over-the-place stage, so if this place fades into the sunset, Goodbye, good luck and thanks for all the fish.
