Just a bit of trivia for you guys!
Last Thursday night and Friday morning in Mexico saw a string of drug related murders, 85 people in total were left dead on the streets of a Mexican town.
As usual the drug dealers used various methods very much resembling military tactics. Buses were used to block roads and thus deny any type of support for the authorities during the battles.
Some say that these are signs of a much better and spirited offensive by the dealers which is increasing in efficiency on a daily basis.
For some time however it has bothered me that nobody seems to pay any attention to the meaning or definition of what these “Cartels” are all about.
You see, the word “Cartel” is actually a mispronunciation of the real word used by South Americans for these groups of drug dealers. We use the real word to define them which is “Cuartel”
What does it mean?
A Military Compound or Headquarters.
In other words, just about every South American knows as a matter of fact that the real leaders of these drugs dealers are the Military leaders of the nation in question. Mexico, Colombia, Bolivia. etc
Is it any wonder therefore that they can never be defeated seeing as how it is the military that is trying to defeat the “Cartels”?
It’s like sending Satan to defeat the Devil, one and the same.
The silver lining being that whilst they are killing each other they are neither producing more of them or being illegal immigrants elsewhere.
It would be very simple to stop really.
Just an automatic death sentence for any dealer in a Westernised country. Would soon cut demand!
No demand, no drug wars.
I say we offer them a job, any job. They’ll kill themselves in minutes. 🙂
