This something different Zen, I’m not really into African music, possibly because I haven’t really listened to it at length before. What prompted it?
The tree, Val, then old memories started churning around.
I see what you mean, sweet memories. I have to say, the tree is magnificent, the sunset setting with it is even better.
…the smell of the earth after the first rain 🙂
That sounds beautiful Bravo.
Love it. Hope you like this.
Zen – I have listened to a CD of Paul Simon’s “Graceland” played in a suburban garden in Maputo and “the Rythym of the Saints” in Rio. So, so different from listening in your lounge in Blighty. I can die happy – the man is a genius.
But I am looking on YouTube for a particular song which, for me, sums up Africa and not one of Simon’s. It is one of those songs that makes my fur stand on air every time.
