Well worth watching. Don’t worry, no more posts on islam from me after this, I’ve said my piece in the comments on my posts. Here’s a quote from one of Dr Jasser’s blogs:
To lay it out in no uncertain terms, Political Islam has one goal, the dominance of the Islamist version of Islam over every aspect of life. Their belief in a theocratic form of government that stifles individual liberty is at complete odds with every principle that built America.
I’m off to bed.
Bravo, I have seem many such clips and I cannot argue with your quote, save that I would substitute “political Islam” with “radical Islam”. I doubt anyone here would challenge this.
I still, however, cannot agree with your statement that it is Islam that is the enemy; it is radical Islam that is the enemy. Extremists and radicals subvert the message of Islam to their own ends. Millions of followers of Islam are more concerned with fighting the extremists in their own states and there is evidence that support that progress is being made, and not much evidence that Islam is inimically a threat to Western civilisation.
PS: I’m still working on Monty Mouse and Multiculturalism. π
Araminta – Well said @ 8.59 pm. I look forward to Monty’s further adventures and offer you a cyber-tin hat to ward off the inevitable incoming.
π
Oz
Thank you Oz: Monty will return with flak jacket and armed to the teeth. π
I believe that is an expression of hope rather than fact. Rather contradicted by:
Your White Guilt is showing.
White guilt, Bravo?
I donβt think so.
Many years ago I was at a student βdoβ at the University of Marburg. I danced most of the evening. Towards the end, I was asked to dance by one of the black students. I politely declined because my feet were aching and I was tired.
My German friends were horrified. Their attitude was along the lines of I should have said yes because he would feel my refusal was because he was black. It wasnβt.
I thought their attitude could be described as White Guilt, not mine.
Monty needs to be armed to the teeth, Bravo, in case some of his fans turn up minus their sense of humour. π
Well, i have a humourous story about immigrants, too, though mine is about a legal christian immigrant to an islamic State, but I think I’ll keep it until the humourous illegal immigrant mouse turns up.
Drat.
How did you know that the next episode is Monty goes to Mecca? π
Ha, that should be fun. All that walking widdershins around a black rock and chucking stones at other bits of rock and that.
PS again:
Not if you keep your head firmly buried in the sand of your civilised western perceptions that is, or unless you consider that a creed which has as it’s guiding principle rule by diktat* is compatible with western civilisation.
*Or, rather, rule by whatever interpretataion of 8th Century diktat suits the old men in charge at any particular time.
Luckily, Bravo, I have to go out now, so I won’t try your patience any longer. π
PS: would you be frightfully offended if I pointed out the title of your post is missing an apostrophe?
1. Never a trial.
2. Not in the least, fixing it now, Ma’am.
Very funny, Bravo but left a bit. π
