Janus you seem to be incapable of raising a serious comment. Sarkozy is a great asset to France and if he is prepared to talk straight to the face of the Chinese, then that is the kind of leader I like.
This comment of Sarkozy may also bring out a big cultural difference between Britain and France. It is true that if you translate into English,what we tend to say to one other then it can appear direct, brusque and lacking in diplomacy. But that is the way we do things, we call a spade a spade. I freely admit that it suits my constitution much better than more indirect modes of communication.
