I filled the fuel tank, checked and topped up the oil, then fired up the Quattro!
Well, OK, it wasn’t the Quattro, but the lawn mower. Miracle of miracles, it started after about six or seven pulls on the starter cable. Last year, it took me a whole morning and all my engineering skills and some industrial grade swearing to get the thing going after the winter. I had to almost rebuild the engine! The only trouble is, I am now all stiff after pushing the thing around the lawns (note to self, must exchange it for a self-propelled one)!
Lets hope that this good omen is reflected in the result on May 7th, when the worst Prime Minister in history is consigned to oblivion!
Lawnmowers, go-karts and motorbikes, they are all the bloody same. Well done though on getting it started and with you all the way regarding Brown.
FEEG,
You already had a miracle. Asking for the second? Greedy!
Ours started first time….
So did ours, but it has now gone off to be serviced because I forgot to do it earlier.
If it’s not broken, Ara, why fix it? 😉
Er, Nym, because the blade is very blunt and it’s sort of puffing smoke out of somewhere and I haven’t had it serviced for a couple of years.
But it did start! 🙂
I have a fantastic lawnmower. My husband!
