For those of you unable to watch the Man United v Aston Villa final the BBC radio commentary is available here live!
If I can hear it down here, my fellow members elsewhere in the world should be able to.
It looks like the commentary on England’s tour to Bangladesh is also available.
Hi Soutie: I find this facility unnecessary because I live in the UK, but I do think it is quite magical. I don’t use my PC to watch TV programmes I have missed, which is most of them, but the ability to do so is “awesome”. “The young” think I’m a Luddite; they may have a point!
PS. Ya boo sucks to all who complain about the BBC!
Quite right Araminta. Hear hear!
I came n thousand miles to get away from such!
I always used to be immensely and overwhelmingly grateful to return to the good old BBC, Tina, whenever I came back from the US. It was a long time ago, but I doubt it has changed much.
Hello Ara
I was thinking more of sports lovers in far away lands who perhaps don’t have access to satellite TV or don’t pay for them, or even if they have, these particular games aren’t broadcast. (Nobby is a Man U fan and I know that James enjoys his cricket.)
Like you, I have never watched a TV programme or film on my computer.
I often visit the Beeb to check but usually find the ‘big’ events carry a footnote: ‘Not available in your area’. Probably to do with licences around Europe.
