Greetings folks!

Not entirely sure I know my a** from my e**** here yet but this is just a quick one to say ‘Hi!’

Looks quite spiffy here and so nice to see all the familiar folks without waiting ages for the site to load and battling past the pesky ads.

Forgive me if I turn up in unexpected places, Bearsy.  You might see me wandering lost in the dark corridors of the WordPress  basement heading for the bins but I’ll probably find my way back to civilization….

Will post a bit of a blog later. With pics if I can manage it.

ps:     I don’t think I’ll be trying a  ‘manual excerpt.’ Doesn’t sound very nice. Only to be attempted if desperate, I feel.

  3. Janh1 – Welcome to a little haven of creativity and calm from the madness “over there”. In my brief experience this site takes more fettling than MyT, but is it well worth it, or at least it will be once I’ve done the fettling. 🙂

    Oh, hang on. Iv’e just remembered that we’re not supposed to bring our ‘issues’ with other MyT bloggers on to this site. In any event, I’m almost over it and am friends with the whole Welsh nation again, with the obvious exception of Lee Byrne who is, in my opinion, a dirty, little, cheating toerag. It may take me a couple more days in his case.

    Anyhow, moving on. Good evening, Janh1 and welcome. In honour of your arrival, you’re getting the first and last smiley that I am ever going to do. Just don’t like them but have now read up on them in the FAQ Section and hope that I get this right. 🙂

    It’s not appearing on these pages. Hurray!

  15. Noswaith dda John M. I am indeed honoured by your smiley. I know you do not bestow them lightly whereas I fling them around with alacrity.

    I won’t mention the rugby, only to say you have the advantage because I only saw the highlights. I had a better offer involving my bike followed by a seven course tasting menu. Can’t help but feel a little sorry for Andy Powell and his misdemeanour involving a golf buggy. Drunken high jinx after such a match deserved a little mercy, I thought.

  17. Totally agree here Jan re the Andy Powell incident. Who hasn’t been in charge of a golf buggy when drunk? It’s the only good thing about the game (golf that is) in my opinion.

  18. LOL. In that case I can’t wait to get cracking with a golf coach.
    I feel my pitch and putt skills might transfer. Anyway I know a chap who hypnotises ladies into playing better golf… at least… that’s his story.
