Spent the weekend in Plettenberg Bay, that’s about 230km west of here heading towards Cape Town.
The road is like this the whole way, plenty wide, and minimal traffic.
We drive through firstly farmland and then about 100km of forestry reserves, all rather scenic.
We saw three troops of baboons on the side of the road, each time we slowed down to enable me to take a picture for cherished colleagues they scarpered into the roadside bush and trees so I nicked this pic of baboons on the Tsitsikama road from somebody’s flicker account.
Lovely place, Soutie.

It is, this particular stretch of coastline, 2-300 km of it, from Humansdorp to Mossel Bay is referred to as The Garden Route, I never tire of driving it.
