“Violent thunderstorms with damaging winds and hail.” Nice forecast to start the day. Well we said we did not have a schedule.
Storm passed through around noon, this was our neighbor the steel trawler, he’s only about two hundred feet away.
I spent some time later checking and topping up the batteries with water. Standing headroom in the engine room, if you are four feet tall that is. Tough on the knees otherwise.
That’s not my underwear on display, it’s my oil-colored hot-weather maintenance kit, my theory being it is easier to wash grime and grease off skin than clothing.
Yes, the engine room is painted white, it encourages one to be tidy and clean. The venerable half-ton Lehman six cylinder diesel is just under my right arm.
We did get a sunset, don’t speak too loudly but it appears to be clearing in the West

Nice pics again.
Sorry you’re having such rotten weather, LW, but it’s a comfort to know others are suffering from this summer too. I see it’s quite soggy in Merion for the US Open. That’s close to where we lived in Pennsylvania, on the Main Line.
Here’s hoping for a better weekend.
