Ah, OZ. You remove the Ads by going full screen. If you have a Mac, you get round the screen-size problem by (One click, no interminable set-up…) switching output to Apple TV…
Another little anecdote. I bought a honking, great plasma TV for the 2003 World Cup – I was still working in HK – which cost me two and a bit times as much as the (bigger) HD TV my son just bought…
I watched the game, well done England, they played well and NZ were undoubtedly below par. Sporting of the ABs coach, Steve Hanson, to say the English deserved to win.
What makes my blood boil is the ridiculous hyperbole about how England are now 2nd favourites to win the 2015 World Cup! Absolute piffle! England couldn’t beat a 2nd string SA team and an injured and wounded Australia team in the two previous weeks, have no decent number 10, captain or any flair, speed or selection consistency. Typical northern Hemisphere cloud cuckoo speak. Let me guess, the Wesh must be favourites by that reckoning!
That said, well done England (the ladies thereof!)
