Superman

As a Marvel man born and bred I fully expect the DC hordes to come on here and contradict me. However, as a Maggie (that’s me came out the closet and shown my true political colours) and not Maggia representative, The Royalist is not for turning. Lee McCulloch and not Clark Kent is Superman.

Big Lee is the type of guy you want when the going gets tough. Not for him the easy money elsewhere when your club is going down the pan. The Big Man is a True Blue through and through. For those of you that follow, follow the business pages you’ll know that Rangers F.C won “the Big Tax Case”. This albatross around our neck has contributed to our fall from grace. The not guilty verdict has given us a sense of injustice. Too many were quick to throw mud at us. We were guilty before we were tried.

Life goes on. It’s only football after all. Talking of which, to use the Mrs Merton angle on Debbie McGee “What first attracted you to millionaire Paul Daniels?” I wonder what first attracted model Penny Lancaster to Rod Stewart? Was it his big nose? His greetin’ face? His Mickey Mouse team? Oh well, we’ll never know.

Apologies in advance, especially to OZ who is right behind me in my cause to ban the c word, for all the swearing in this video.

As celebrity fans go the left wingers, as usual, have cornered the market: Rod the Nose, Elton the Baldy, Snoop Dogg the, I don’t know…doggy. FETCH!
Still, Rangers have got the mighty AC/DC on their side and they don’t come much better than that.
ANGUS! ANGUS! ANGUS! Not forgetting SUPERLEE!

  1. JW, good afternoon. Presumably by the c word you meant C***ic. Oh, bolleaux, I said C***ic again didn’t I? Oh C***ic, I never wanted to be a Catholic anyway! 🙂

  2. Shame on you, OZ. All that swearing and on a Sunday, too. 🙂

Left-footers would have made more sense, Sipu. I’m going to try to squirrel out of this one by saying that it is mostly left-footers that play on the left wing. The earlier reference to the Blessed Maggie may have made me use the wrong term.

Maggia is a fictional organisation that exists in the Marvel universe. They are based on the Mafia. In case anyone was wondering.
