Spring

This was taken a few days ago.

Under the sundial, the little Buddha is decorated with ruby ladybirds a few bulbs turn their faces to the sun.

Everything in the garden is moving – the buds, the bulbs, the wildlife…. and intermittently the bright sunshine is tempting me to get out there and start the post-winter tidy up. But we had snow on Sunday…. and it’s bright today with a biting wind.

No time to lose. No, time to lose. Make time to stand and stare.... Did you see that?

  1. Hi Nym.

I couldn’t believe it when it started snowing, and yes, it was bitter out today. My bulbs are showing signs of life, at last, but not in flower yet!

Lovely close-up of the ladybird. 🙂

  2. Bulbs out here and snowing too today!
Neyland roundabout was full of daffodils in full flight and had been out three weeks or so I was advised, but it is always warmer there.

  3. No more snow, and the sun has been beautifully warm… after the frost had cleared!
