The weather has changed overnight. The crisp, just-frozen dew of last night, which sparkled on the grass as we walked over it, has gone, leaving a grey smudge of a day.
These photographs are from yesterday
A yellow rose against the wall
winter flowering jasmine
a snowdrop face
see the hidden ladybird?
a freckled hellebore face
Wonderful pictures, Pseu. The picture of the ladybird reminds me of my childhood, they were my favourite animals.
Such a shame with snow and cold weather forecast, they will spoil.
I just hate when weather does that to the garden.
Especially in late winter when fruit blossom gets frosted off and you just know that’s no apples this year.
A week’s cold weather predicted now. I wonder if we shall have snow? The dawn chorus has started already, although it is only January.
Chris, my previous post has many more ladybirds https://charioteers.org/2012/01/28/clematis-and-ladybirds/
