Surprise news just in, the London Sports Day, looks like it might come in a tad over budget!
Bloody ‘eck! I reckon no-one thought that might happen.
I suppose we are all supposed to be grateful that the Capital City Improvement Scheme will only overrun by an estimated 270 million for an unexpected security guard cost. Erm did no-one think to budget for security? Sounds to me like there has been a little “Lobbying with extreme Prejudice” here. But the gubmint have come clean and told us all up front that it is ‘only a possibility’ and there is still another 500 million in the kitty before they need to call on the national purse.
Ex-friggin’-sceeeeeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me Mrs Jowl (intended), but when you morons bid for this monstrous pile of guano, you claimed it would cost us 2.4 Bn. A staggering figure even then, but now the budget has somehow stretched to 9.3 Bn and it seems we should not be concerned if that is not enough for a bunch of mostly temporary structures which are to be torn down when the whole shambles is over with. This figure is the cost to the public purse and nowhere near the actual sums being squandered on this total farce.
Fear not fair public, for it seems this is not yet a done deal. The watchdog on Sports Day Spending says, savings can be made which may bring the ‘games’ back into the black. So what they are saying there then is at 9.3Bn we are doing this on the cheap? A 400% overspend so far and watch this space, remember Hollyrood anyone?
Honestly, I think most of these complete idiots are currently residing on Kepler 22-b because they don’t have the foggiest what the fook is happening here on Planet Earth.
Just in case any of you are still confused as to where I stand on the whole 2012 issue, I have to admit I am and always have been a tad against it. 🙂

I don’t know what you lot are bloody well moaning about. You haven’t had a surcharge on your council rates to pay for this fiasco, only us in London have had to pay for it. We will also have to put up with road closures, over crowded transport systems and lots of heaving sweaty loonies going to and from the damn place.
Best thing we can do is leave London for the duration, but road closures will last 3 months.
And we don’t get a damn ticket to enter or a discount.

The only possible benefit of this stupid arsed games day will be felt by those living inside the M25. They are getting the investment, extra underground funding, regeneration and infrastructure investment. If you are suggesting for one second that the slight increase on the Cockney Council Tax equates to the obscene 9.4+ Billion that these dickheads are chucking at this stupid event then you are defo not the man I know you to be. London should pay more than the rest of us because London is the only place that stands to take any benefit from this complete and utter bollocks.
