No time to lose. No, time to lose.
Make time to stand and stare.... Did you see that?

How very odd, Nym.
Some one throwing snowballs onto to the roof?
No, I don’t think so… I think it was from the snow falling off the higher roof… this is the roof f the single storey dining room.
I do not see the Hand of God in this, or Father Christmas. Question your menfolk, Nym! 😉
I didn’t see your comment, Nym; it is certainly curious.
No one had been outside. My husband saw them from an upstairs window
Sadly they have now gone. The big melt continues, though we still have snow ont he verges and in shaded areas, especially field hedges.
It’s a bit like the mystery of the meteor falling from the skies and cracking three of my roof tiles, and the inner roof lining.
We may never know, but I have my suspicions. 😉
Do tell…
At least you have a photographic record. There is hardly any snow remaining here, only half melted snowmen in fields.
Well, do you remember me mentioning various disasters; ie, the failure of the oven and replacement thereof?
Last winter my next door neighbour spotted cracked slate tiles in the annex roof. The obviously cannon ball shaped object smashed through the tiles and the roof lining but there was no sign of a meteor; just a round hole.
It has happened before and my neighbour, who is a retired BA pilot had the same thing happen to his greenhouse.
He decided it was overflying aircraft and waste from the loos from however many thousand feet, turning into small cannon-balls. In the absence of any evidence, and not knowing quite which airline was responsible, I can’t sue anyone.:)
It took ages to find someone to fix it, but it was finally sorted last month!
CRIKEY, Ara!
I have heard the expression “to be s**t upon from a great height”, but I can’t say I have ever known anyone that it has actually happened to, until now; my condolences! It is illegal incidentally to drop any object from a civilian aircraft, including toilet waste, I would have thought…
It looks like writing on the roof? This is better than crop circles 🙂
I found this image:
and this one:
Maybe mine was just a smaller version?
Found under ‘pinwheels’ not cartwheels, BTW.
It’s the winter sports version of cheese rolling that the funsuckers hate so much.
